The 22nd International Conference on Urban Health (ICUH 2026) will convene in October in exciting Mexico City for a week of interdisciplinary learning, global thought-sharing, discovery, and collaboration.

Across five days, the conference will bring together hundreds of international leaders, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to explore new approaches to creating healthier, more equitable, and climate-resilient cities – with a particular focus on the innovation and leadership emerging from Latin America and the Caribbean.

The main conference program will run Wednesday through Friday at Tecnológico de Monterrey's Mexico City Campus in the Tlalpan borough – hosted in academic partnership with one of Latin America's leading research universities.

Our 2026 conference features 6 dynamic plenary sessions, in addition to 200+ parallel sessions, including interactive workshops, pre-formed speaking panels, oral and poster presentations, outdoor activities, and specially-curated exhibitions highlighting innovative research and practice in urban health.

To complement these sessions, Tuesday and Saturday will feature special activities like curated site visits, tours, and partner-led activities designed to connect participants with Mexico City's local context, culture, and leadership in urban wellbeing.

Evening receptions and networking events throughout the week will provide more opportunities to meet, exchange ideas, and celebrate with colleagues from around the world.
